PPM SERVICE POLICY

 
 

TRANSPARENT AND FAIR PRICING

We believe in honest and transparent pricing that is clearly communicated to our clients. Solar systems require very low maintenance over time. Failures in power electronics often appear at the very beginning and end of their useful life. Early-life failures are more common than random failures during the useful life, and this is why we are waiving any truck roll or hourly fees for the first 12 months.

Common failures in solar systems are typically internet connectivity related and don’t affect production. Example: WiFi password was changed and internet gateway is no longer able to connect (we can still work with you over the phone/Zoom/Facetime at no cost to help restore connectivity). Phone consultations must be scheduled with the office in advance.

CONSULTATIONS FOR PPM CUSTOMERS

Troubleshooting assistance for existing PPM customers is provided free of charge by phone. Common issues include: reading error codes, restoring monitoring issues due to connectivity, production evaluation, simple resets, etc. The time limit is 1 hour per specific issue.

SERVICE OF EXISTING CUSTOMERS

TRUCK ROLL FEE

- Waived for the first 12 months from interconnection

- $150 within a 60-mile radius from the office

- $1/mile beyond 60 miles

LABOR COST

- Waived for the first 12 months

- 1 hr of work is included with the truck roll fee. Beyond 1 included hour:

- 1 technician - $90/hr

- 2 technicians - $120/hr

- For issues covered under PPM limited workmanship warranty, labor is free

MATERIALS

- Waived for the first 12 months

- Equipment under manufacturer’s warranty is replaced at no material cost, labor cost only

- Equipment covered under PPM limited workmanship warranty is replaced at no cost

SERVICE OF SOLAR SYSTEMS INSTALLED BY OTHERS

- Currently, we limit our service to existing PPM Solar customers only.
